Day 2

Osaka – Nara – Kyoto
After breakfast, visit Osaka Castle Park (grounds only; castle keep not included), then continue to Nara Park, Kasuga Taisha, and Mt. Wakakusa before checking in at your Kyoto hotel.
Osaka Castle Park
A vast historic park within the Osaka Castle special historic site. The keep at the center houses an observation deck and history museum (paid); the top floor overlooks the Osaka plain. Trees fill the grounds — cherry and plum in season — a beloved urban oasis for locals and visitors. This tour does not enter the keep.

Nara Park
An urban park at the foot of Mt. Wakakusa, with Todai-ji, Kasuga Taisha, and other Nara landmarks nearby — essential for any Nara visit. Beautiful year-round; free-roaming deer approach when they see shika senbei crackers. Feeding the deer is a highlight.

Kasuga Taisha
Nara's guardian shrine for over 1,300 years, head shrine of Kasuga shrines nationwide and one of Japan's three great shrines. Stone lanterns along the approach are moss-covered, offered by worshippers for light and protection. Deer here are relatively gentle and often bow after being fed.

Mt. Wakakusa
Inside Nara Park, three stacked ridges form a terraced landscape at 342 m elevation, covered by about 330,000 m² of lawn. From the viewing platform you overlook the Nara Basin; the traditional Wakakusa Yamayaki burning is held on the fourth Saturday of January. Wild deer share the slopes with people.

Day 3

Kyoto – Mt. Fuji
After breakfast, ride the Arashiyama scenic train (Kameoka to Arashiyama) and visit Arashiyama and Kiyomizu-dera; from Kyoto Station take the shinkansen to Mishima (about 2.5–3 hours). Private transfer to a Mt. Fuji-area onsen hotel for dinner buffet or Japanese kaiseki (depending on hotel).
Arashiyama scenic train
The Sagano Romantic Train runs along Hozukyo Gorge — spring blossoms, summer greens, autumn maples, and winter snow. This segment is Kameoka Station to Arashiyama Station.

Arashiyama area
One of Kyoto's most famous scenic districts. The mountain rises 375 m; the Oi River winds north, and Togetsukyo Bridge (about 154 m) links both banks. Nearby are Arashiyama Park, Kameyama Park, and Tenryu-ji; hillside temples such as Daihikaku and Horin-ji add charm, especially in misty rain.

Kiyomizu-dera
A UNESCO World Heritage site. The main hall is famous for the "Kiyomizu Stage," its roof layered with cypress bark. Below lie Otowa Waterfall and Koyasu Pagoda (Important Cultural Property) for safe childbirth prayers. Nio Gate, bell tower, West Gate, and the three-story pagoda fill the grounds. Inscribed in 1994 as part of the Historic Monuments of Ancient Kyoto.

Shinkansen (Kyoto → Mishima)
Board the shinkansen at Kyoto Station for Mishima Station, about 2.5–3 hours. Private transfer on arrival to a Mt. Fuji-area onsen hotel.

Day 4

Mt. Fuji – Tokyo
After breakfast, visit the Kawaguchiko Tenjozan ropeway and park, Lake Yamanaka, and Gotemba Premium Outlets, then drive to Tokyo (about 2.5 hours) and check in at a city hotel.
Kawaguchiko Tenjozan ropeway
Themed on the Japanese folk tale "Kachi-kachi Yama" of the raccoon dog and rabbit, with cute statues at the entrance. The ropeway offers seasonal Lake Kawaguchi views and Mt. Fuji scenery; the summit "Bell of the Mountain" faces Fuji — a perfect photo spot.

Kawaguchiko Tenjozan Park
Open views of Mt. Fuji and Lake Kawaguchi. Autumn maples layer against pine green for vivid mountain color.

Lake Yamanaka
One of the Fuji Five Lakes in Yamanashi — largest in area and highest in elevation. Famous for clear water and Fuji's reflection, ideal for photographers and nature lovers, and one of the closest fine viewing points for the mountain.

Gotemba Premium Outlets
One of Japan's largest brand-outlet shopping villages, set in nature with Fuji views and European-style architecture. Domestic and international labels gather here near Fuji and Hakone — a must for many overseas visitors.

Day 5

Tokyo
After breakfast, visit Senso-ji and Nakamise shopping street, Tokyo Tower, then Shibuya or Ginza (choose one; suggested stay 4–5 hours).
Senso-ji & Nakamise shopping street
In Taito Ward, Tokyo's oldest temple and a lively Edo-style gathering place. The great "Kaminarimon" (Thunder Gate) is a symbol of Japan and Asakusa. Legend says fishermen found a golden Kannon statue in 628 and built the temple; Tokugawa Ieyasu rebuilt and expanded it in early Edo. Five-story pagoda and many historic structures stand within; Nakamise sells Japanese snacks and souvenirs.

Tokyo Tower
A radio tower in Shiba Park — Tokyo landmark and tourist site at 332.6 m. Main deck at 150 m, special deck at 249.9 m; below are the FootTown complex, aquarium, and souvenir shops. Red-and-white coloring aids aviation visibility; lighting changes with the seasons.

Shibuya
One of Tokyo's most distinctive wards — commerce, fashion, and youth culture. Hachiko and the scramble crossing are world-famous; department stores, fashion, dining, and entertainment crowd the streets. Known as a "young people's town" and a birthplace of Asian trends.

Ginza
Central Tokyo's premier commercial district, known for land values and luxury shopping. Mitsukoshi, Matsuya, and brands such as Hermès, Gucci, and Chanel gather here, along with restaurants of every level.
