About this tour

▲ Kyushu Exclusive|A Trio of Heavenly Wonders: Feel the Pulse of the Volcano, Pastoral Serenades, and the Mystical Canyon—Sense the Earth's heartbeat amid the sulfur fumes rising from Mount Aso's Nakadake Crater, gallop across the emerald grasslands nourished by volcanic ash at Kusasenri, and then traverse the 17-meter Manai Waterfall in the Takachiho Gorge lava canyon.

▲ Takachiho Gorge|In autumn, the gorge is ablaze with crimson leaves, the clear stream reflecting the layered forests, and the waterfall cascading down, as if adding a touch of liveliness to the autumn scenery. Manai Waterfall plunges 17 meters from a lava cliff, with mist drifting over moss-covered rock pillars—every frame is a ukiyo-e masterpiece carved by nature (One boat can carry 3 people. Solo travelers will share the boat with other guests, thank you for your understanding.)

▲ Mount Aso Crater|Listen to the Earth's Breath and Pulse—Sulfur fumes surge from the depths of the giant crater, while the emerald volcanic lake glistens on the scorched lava ground. Every tremor of steam is the primal breath of the earth. The sulfur odor at Mount Aso's crater is strong; those sensitive to smells may bring a mask. Access to the crater is subject to official announcements on the day. The shuttle bus fee is complimentary. If the crater is closed, the visit will be replaced by Kamishikimi Kumanoimasu Shrine, with no refunds. Please consider carefully before booking.

▲ Kusasenri|Feel the Healing Power Amid the Grass Waves—As the wind sweeps across the volcanic ash-nourished wilderness, the entire grassland turns into rolling waves of green. Mount a horse and stroll slowly, where the hoofbeats and the rustling of grass weave a soothing white noise. Or simply lie down, watching the drifting clouds cast flowing shadows on the endless green carpet. In this moment of letting go, your breath syncs with the earth.

▲ This is a double relaxation for both the eyes and the soul. Without the hassle of long travel, you can still enjoy the magnificent volcano, the vast grasslands, and the serene canyon. Every stop makes you reluctant to leave.
