About this tour

▲ Departing from Sapporo, embark on a one-day journey blending natural landscapes with classic photo spots. Travel through the rolling hills and pastoral scenery of Furano and Biei, visiting some of Hokkaido’s most iconic attractions. Blue skies, white clouds, fresh air, and vast fields make the entire trip healing and full of summer vitality.

▲ Asahiyama Zoo in Asahikawa City One of Hokkaido’s most popular zoos, famous for its unique "behavioral displays." Visitors can observe animals in their natural behaviors up close, such as penguins swimming swiftly underwater and polar bears diving in pools. In summer, the zoo is lush and green, and the animals are more active, making it an unmissable experience for families and animal lovers.

▲ Ken & Mary Tree (viewed from the car) An iconic landmark on the Biei hills, this solitary and elegant poplar tree became famous because of the 1970s Nissan car advertisement "Ken & Mary." In summer, the green fields contrast with the blue sky and white clouds, and the lone tree stands quietly on the vast hills, making it one of the most representative photo spots on Biei’s "Patchwork Road."

▲ Shirahige Waterfall A waterfall cascading from the cliffs directly into the blue Biei River, known as the "White Beard Waterfall." In summer, the surrounding greenery contrasts sharply with the blue river, creating a spectacular and refreshing scene.

▲ Shirogane Blue Pond A dreamlike lake in Biei, famous for its mysterious blue water. Under sunlight, the water displays different shades of blue, and the dead trees standing in the water create a unique landscape, making it one of Hokkaido’s famous photography spots.

▲ Ninguru Terrace (Forest Elf Terrace) A fairy-tale village of wooden cabins hidden in the Furano forest, consisting of small shops selling handicrafts, glassware, and local souvenirs. Surrounded by green trees in summer, it feels like a fairy tale world, and strolling through it is very romantic and relaxing.
